Project Description

The most difficult project to work on is one of your own. I’ve always been my biggest critic, so settling on a design for myself is an accomplishment of its own. I wanted to keep the logo and branding in line with my clean, simple style with some integrated geometry. The color scheme was the easiest thing to determine — blue and orange has always been my favorite. I enjoy the complimentary contrast between the soft calmness of blue with an orange punch of excitement – sort of like a SoCal sunset. The opposing color scheme also suggests the idea of 2 opposites coming together – right-brain/left-brain, analytic/artistic, thinking/creative. It’s also a throwback to the colors of where I graduated college – CSUF.

I can’t go wrong with a typeface that shares the same name as me!
